Why Stationery?

I’ve mentioned elsewhere on this site that I enjoy creative projects where I have a lot of control over the outcome. This can be hard to find in the design world, as design is intended to solve problems, and those problems aren’t usually your own.

I design seasonal stationery purely out of a desire to create, and unlike my other creative projects, there’s nothing stressful about it. I don’t rely on notecard sales to put food on the table, the notecards are small and easy to design, and it just feels good to create something lovely that gives other people joy.
